Enough of this soap opera, it's time to focus on McCain.
This is no longer about Hillary Clinton or Barrack Obama. This is about the health of the Democratic Party.
When the NY Times calls the PA primary: "even meaner, more vacuous, more desperate, and more filled with pandering than the mean, vacuous, desperate, pander-filled contests that preceded it." (http://www.nytimes.com/2008/04/23/opinion/23wed1.html?_r=1&ref=opinion&oref=slogin)
When to win a primary the Clintons have to pander to social conservatives who won't vote Democratic in the general election.
When Republicans organize in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and now North Carolina to try to damage the Democratic Party by voting for Clinton - they call it "Operation Chaos."
When our party wastes six weeks and tens of millions of dollars giving Hillary a net gain of only 10 delegates. Time we could have spent preparing our party to win in November.
When the Corporate media laps up and hypes up every negative comment and ad, gleefully pushing the narrative of a fractured Democratic Party unable to come together to face McCain and the Republicans down the ticket.
It is time to put a stop to this!
Hillary has lost; and nothing good could come of her continuing.
Her only option has been this desperate, cloying, cynical drama of character assassination and cheap innuendo. She has turned this into a soap opera - a fiasco. Seriously, what's next - what depths could she sink to next because sinking as far as she has so far has not worked?
I have supported Obama form the beginning, but that's not the point anymore. The point is whether we will have a viable party come November. It is not just the presidential campaign about which we should be concerned. A weakened party at the top weakens every Democratic Party candidate at every level.
Stop the Drama. Vote Obama.
