The objective of the DePaul Academic Freedom Conference is to provide a board forum for scholars to present findings, research and exchange ideas about recent trends in academic freedom. The Academic Freedom Committee, a student organization at DePaul University that seeks to preserve academic freedom on campus. Recently, there have been a number of academic freedom infringements at DePaul.
Sara Roy, Senior Research Scholar, Center for Middle East Studies, Harvard University will be the keynote speaker. I have been invited to present a paper. My topic is "Linking Religion and Academic Freedom."
